From Library Journal
Katy has tried to forget the death of her foster sister, Monica, who died in a skating accident when they were both children. Now, 13 years later, the past reaches out to Katy when she begins to receive a series of threatening notes accusing her of Monica's death. Frightened, Katy returns to her hometown in an attempt to discover who wants to harm her. She meets old acquaintances, all of whom have their own secrets and links to Monica's death. At the back of Katy's mind is a half-forgotten memory of someone hiding and watching the day her sister fell through the ice. When two more murders occur, Katy fears for her life. This is a fast-paced mystery with well-developed characters and a tight plot. The excellent narration by Lorelei King makes it easy for the listener to distinguish the various characters. This is sure to be popular in public libraries.
