I wouldn't say it's "The Voice",

Same recycled lyrics and stupid "who, Mike Jones!" phrases through out the album with the Ice Age junk at the begining of most songs just like akon and t-pain with there konvict music. speaking of t-pain there is a few songs in here with the auto tuned voice in it which i would think mike jones did to help him stay in the game and take advantage of a popular trend right now. this cd is just average to me, there is hella slumpaz and slappaz on the track for the club and in the trunk but the cd is nowhere near worth its calling. maybe for texas, but this wasn't anything special at all..

WHO? Mike Jones.. no seriously.. Mike Jones,
By SlabSwangga (San Antonio, TX) - See all my reviews

by no means is this the album that will "save" hip-hop.. nor is it a step in that direction. But this is Mike trying to be better than a ringtone rapper. I started rating the songs and started to notice that the 4 star songs were piling up.. unlike who is mike jones which i gave one 4 star (still tippin).. Mike seems more focused on getting what he wants to say out on this LP. The voice is an appropriate title. Jones' fans will go nuts.. everyone else will probably add this to the "hip-hop-killer" category.. i like it though..

as little as he sold and being punked by Trae, he outsold Paul Wall(good but short),

Top 5 Swagger Right, Houston Oiler, Boi, Swagga Thru Da Roof, Cuddy Buddy is actually better uncensored and with the guests....overall I think if you could appreciate his first album minus the Swisha House camp and more r&b you'll like this one if that description doesnt interest you than stay away, I just think of it like when Baby Beesh went Baby Bash with it after Dopehouse went under.

ok im not going to lie... at first run around, i was like wow... this is garbage, but i stuck with it by the third run i really started to like it.
i guess i thought it was going to be lame before i brought it, and that made it lame before i could give it a chance... with that all being said i think its a solid cd. i dont really hate any songs, and like alot of em... give it a few runs and it should grow on u too?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ! I was hopeing to hear a cd with no "MIKE JONES" we know your name. I gave it 2 stars for some decent beats and hooks but he is trash. If your brain is small as a pea you may be able to withstand this voice of wackness.

Okay. i'm gonna just put it out there. When I put this CD in and heard the first song I admit I was impressed, but after that.. I just don't know. Swagger Right kina set the tone for me and to be honest I thought the whole CD would be this way but sadly it wasn't. there are more songs about Love and sex and stuff having kinda slow beats. They just seem like alot of love songs. Other than Swagger Right, Houston Oilers, Boi, and Happy Birthday, the other songs just werent hittin me right. Ithink it ws cool he didnt repeat his name 1 million times and he went a different way with this second album, so some will like it but for me it is just average. This is just my opinion.

Who? Mike Jones!,

I am sure you have all heard his annoying catchphrase and sadly Mike Jones is back. No one else has reviewed this album and i am not surprised because this album is garbage. His last album "Who is mike Jones" was a bad album but his street single "still tippin" was the only reason his album sold. Now fast forward to The Voice and you get a album that gives many people a reason to say hip hop is dead. This album is just stereotypical hip hop spend money and having sex with women. Mike Jones doesn't even try to push his game up his lyrics are horrible. The funniest thing is that i saw a interview of Mike Jones and they were asking his opinion on the current state of hip hop and to me that was the most ironic thing. Are you serious you are asking Mike Jones not Nas, Jay-Z,Eminem, or Saigon. This album doesn't have any songs that would really want to make you buy this album if i had to choose a favorite song i guess "cuddly buddy' but really im being too nice. In the end if you are a die hard Mike Jones fan then buy this album but if you are a hip hop fan wait for eminem's album or busta rhymes
