This review is from: A Voice From the Wilderness: The Story of Anna Howard Shaw (Hardcover)
This book reads smoothly and the illustrations are beautiful. The illustrations add to the text. They are riveting. As I read this story, I felt as if I was "Anna" as she travelled through her journey. The author note at the end was beneficial and children have the opportunity to locate additional information on Anna Howard Shaw. Anna, the protagonist empowers children to feel they can make a difference in our country. |
