Yanni, as always, does not disappoint. The singers are excellent..especially Nathan. I love it..now when I hear the same song without the singer, I really miss the voices...I went to their opening night concert...WOW..Nathan got a standing ovation and boy did he deserve it. I have this in my car and one at work...I can not get enough. LOVE IT

this is a new start for Yanni,i like this cd/dvd,however on the cd they left out the most beautiful song i've ever heard. Chloe singing "change" bad choice Yanni,sorry.

When I want to relaxe,I'am listen to the Vanni Voices Album,I forget everything around me.Vanni Voices Album is a wonderful CD.

I LOVE HIS MUSIC ALL OF IT. THIS ONE IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE VOICES ARE FANTASTIC.

I am sort of "Old School" when it comes to some things. Where Yanni is concerned, I tend to enjoy the music he performed at the Acropolis and India, and in China. The full symphony orchestra behind him, adding body and richness to his compositions and arrangements.

I realize that, at some point, it becomes a real challenge for a talent such as Yanni, to compose new music. Much like a great novelist as W. E. B. Griffin to write a new story.

"Yanni LIVE! The Concert Event" (performed at the Mandalay Bay Resort, in 2006), was the first divergence from the known style and sound of Yanni. In one of the tracks (the latter part of "Storm," track #10), there is an unmistakenable similarity in style to "bond." Tho, their unique style predates Yanni's 2006 performance. To me, it appears that he was influenced by their sound and style. There were several tracks from this recording which I added to my music library. The change in style was not as severe as it could have been. Yanni's unmistakeable stamp on his music- was still appearant, and enjoyable.

Conversely, there were fewer tracks in "Voices" which I actually enjoyed. I am one who is not overly crazy about "vocals." Tracks 6, 10 and 16 were the only ones I added to my Library. It becomes a case of biting the bullet and listening to his NEW music, and deciding if his new music is "better," "equal to," or "not as good as" his previous compositions and accomplishments.

Maybe his new style will talk to you, and you'll enjoy it. But for me, "Yanni Voices" did not have the same appeal as his earlier music.

If you don't be sure about purchase this specific work, my recommendation for you is YES, just get it!
Please listen "Love Take me", for me the best song of Chloe. The extra videos and lyrics are very cool!

I have both Voices and Voces, and for me they are Excellent works by Yanni and your talented team.
I followed his music for years and I like that Yanni bet to do something different this time (open the doors to the latin singers), each artist must be creative and innovative, there are risks but it is worth trying. People still are clung to Yanni instrumental style, try to open your mind and pay attention to the lyrics, the new singers, they are excellent too.

I ended up seeing the Voices concert twice while they were on tour, and it was without a doubt the best concert experience I have ever been to. The vocalists are incredibly talented (well... three out of four aint bad, you wouldn't be faulted for confusing Ender Thomas with Enrique Iglesias if you heard him. He's fun, but not on the level of the other three) and the music is incredibly fun, tonally rich, energetic, and well-arranged. Chloe and Nathan in particular, are truly something special. Both gave incredibly emotional, moving, powerful performances at each of the concerts I attended.

I bought this CD afterwards, and was subsequently a little disappointed. Although the music is great, the recording quality doesn't do the performances justice. If you're an audiophile Yanni lover, this CD is going to let you down. The stunning recording quality that you heard from the Live at the Acropolis and Yanni Live the Concert Experience CDs is noticeably absent here. Too much of the mix blurs together, and there is distortion in particularly loud passages. Instead, I recommend looking for the Voices Live from Acapulco CD (NOT the DVD - the DVD is the same tracks as this CD, put to imagery from the concert - not the audio from the concert itself) - it has all that recording goodness you've come to expect from Yanni's albums, and Chloe's performance of Change will give you goosebumps. The only problem is that tracking down a copy may take some doing, since to date it hasn't been commercially released (and I'm not sure if/when it might be).

For the less audiophilia-inclined folks out there, this is a great album with some incredibly talented performers and a lot of energy. Highly recommended.

Everything about Yanni is great. His sensitive artist soul, humility and creativity show how connected he is with himself and with all human hearts. In this album, Yanni opens the door and welcomes four young vocal artists that show an astounding performance. It is so nice to hear lyrics on the beautiful and familiar Yanni songs. It's a pleasant surprise to unveil these new possibilities of every song. Nathan Pacheco's performance is particularly unbelievably amazing. I don't have words to describe. The DVD that comes together is of great video and audio quality and explains a lot about how these artists came together to create this great album. I actually watched more times the DVD than the CD. It's much better to watch Yanni and the vocalists interpretation of the songs in a high quality video with pure 5.1 audio. I liked Yanni music for quite a long time, but after hearing this album I'm sure he is the top musician alive.

I've been a big fan of Yanni, he's an amazing and talented pianist. His new CD Yanni Voices album is awesome, he has very talented musicians. This new album is a mixture of new age, pop, classical, and opera. Its a wonderful addition to my CD collection, i listen to it when i'm relaxing at home, its takes me to another world.

This CD is very different from any that I currently listen to. I was surprised by the depth of the songs. My favorite tracks were: The Keeper, Never Leave the Sun and Before the Night Ends.
