5.0 out of 5 stars where it all started..., January 7, 2005
This review is from: Voices of Eternity (Mass Market Paperback)
I got this book when it was new,and i believe this was one of the first publications of Electronic Voice Phenomenon. This is really THE pioneering studies of such an erie topic.Sarah tries to explain EVP,and gives examples of her research. This is ONE of the most creepy type of reads out there, because as more research is done in this field, more true results are yielded.EVP was virtually unknown at the time.If you are interested in,or just getting into the paranormal, this,IN MY OPINION,is almost the bible of EVP.Well written, this WILL make your skin crawl, and the lighter of heart MAY lose sleep.SIMPLY FASCINATING.....

4.0 out of 5 stars sure makes you think . . ., November 9, 2005

I purchased this off of Ebay with the tapes included and it was a very interesting look at the "proof" of afterlife. Yes, I'm a skeptic, but there is sure alot of evidence in this book of something out there. If you are religious, it will make you think about your beliefs - I think God knows that these events happen to the deceased - not all - but is it a better place?? Most of the spirits are not happy. The ones that are, most likely, are in Heaven. I think God doesn't want us to know about this stuff because it could cause total strife among the living who are not afraid to die...does man fear the bullet from the police officer of doing wrong, or the death sentence when he knows he may have a second chance in the thereafter?? It makes one think.
