This book is a superb collection of positive writings from numerous and varied sources around the world stating the present Catholic Church's teachings on Homosexuality and possible directions to be taken when relating to issues of same sex orientation.

1.0 out of 5 stars Grand Illusion, September 7, 2000
This review is from: Voices of Hope: A Collection of Positive Catholic Writings on Gay & Lesbian Issues (Paperback)
The teaching of the Catholic Church on homosexuality is delicately balanced: the orientation is neutral, but homosexual intercourse is wrong; no violence toward someone because of sexaul orientation, but no condoning of homosexual fornication. This book breaks the balance. This glowing endorsement of the gay lifestyle deceptively uses the term "Catholic." There's nothing Catholic about it. For a true Catholic position, read the works of John Harvey or call your local Courage chapter.
