About the Author
Editor Michael Carey is the author of five books of poetry, two plays and a teaching manual. He is founder of Loess Hills Books and Carrauntoohil Books as well as the syndicated Public Radio program Voices from the Prairie sponsored by Humanities Iowa. He lives and farms in southwest Iowa with his wife Kelly and children: Helen, Maeve, Andrew and Fionnuala.
