Teri DeSario put this album out in the 1985. The 3 best songs on the album are Celebrate which includes sounds of jungle animals in the celebration of nature, Voices in the Wind which includes murmured quotes by various Christians of the past such as Hildegard of Bingen who lived from 1098-1179 and Julian of Norwich who died in the 1420's, and I Don't Want to be a Soldier which is as anti-war of a song as I've ever heard in Christian music. The quote of "I don't wanna be a soldier all in the name of the Lord" goes against what many have taught in the conservative Christian churches as of late. Most of the other songs are forgettable except All Day Thursday, the story of a thief whose heart won't let him keep what he has stolen and Ain't Givin Up, No Way. DeSario's voice brings these songs to life.

Teri DeSario made a brief appearance on the Christian music scene and had just 2 solo CCM releases as far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong) after some success in the disco arena in the late 70s to early 80s. She enjoyed some secular prominence again with 'Overnight Success' in the notoriously hard-to-crack Japanese market in the mid-80s.

'Voices In The Wind' contained 9 pop tracks which showcased her quivering soprano well, especially in the haunting and dark computer age parable "All Day Thursday" and the ballad "Ain't Giving Up No Way'. The more upbeat tracks like 'Celebrate' and the title track were as hip as Laura Branigan and Sheena Easton's best during those yesteryears.

Would be fantastic if some enterprising record company reissues this on CD (or Amazon could release a CD-R on demand as they have with such 80s gems like Twila Paris' "Kingdom Seekers" and Wendy & Mary's "The Wind Came Singing"...

Next on, Sheila Walsh's "Shadowlands" should also get a reissue, but I digress...

This is an awesome album which I sure hope goes "digital" very soon. Teri DeSario is just an amazing singer! I am looking for this album as a CD or as "digital downloads". Her songs are still fresh in my memory to this day......just an unforgettable selection of songs. I highly recommend this album!Voices In The Wind
