This video is extraordinary. I've been teaching literature for a long, long time and I learned early on that bringing a movie or a video to class was for the most part a waste of time. Students would snooze through the video, or -- worse yet -- I would snooze. None of this, however, is true of this video of Frost's work. Everytime I teach Robert Frost, I bring this video in and play the dramatization of "Home Burial." My students are always moved, touched by the poem and the performances. Sometimes, I have to pause for a while so that students can compose themselves after the emotional experience of this dramatization. When I told my colleagues I was retiring, a couple asked me to leave behind my copy of the video so they can continue showing it to their students!

A THOUSAND BUCKS?! FOR A USED VHS TAPE?!! YOU'RE KIDDING, RIGHT??!!! (It can't be THAT good...come on now).

In my opinion this video is worth watching, even more if you dont know who robert frost is because in this video it is like you have hust met Robert Frost and he is telling you about himself. A good movie all around i recommend this for people of all ages from child to adult.
