This review is from: Voices in Wartime: The Anthology (Paperback)
I was in Kuwait the day the war started in 2003, then went to Iraq. The books stories describe the emotional turmoil pretty well. It's painful to read actually. There's some anti-war pacifists' stories in there, which I definitely don't agree with, but the truth is, war is totally awful. I was all fired up, then when I got there I said, "God, what have I gotten myself into?"
