BEST GAME SHOW EVER!,
This review is from: Vol. 1-Best of What's My Line (DVD)
"What's My Line?" is the best, classiest game show ever. With it's blend of every day people and celebrities, and a panel trying to guess their jobs or identites, this was one of the longest running games shows in prime time through the 50s and 60s. I hope that those who don't watch the nightly 3AM showings on GSN will pick up this DVD set and give the show a look. It will be well worth the time and the price. I hope that the video company will also be able to include the "What's My Line?" anniversary special at some point, if not on this set then on a future edition...and find some of those lost episodes that are in private collections but aren't part of the GSN package! "What's My Line?" is witty, classy, and laugh-out-loud funny at times and deserves to be discovered by a new generation of viewers. Pick up this set!!!

I hope it's filled with mostly mystery guests as I watch this on You Tube all the time. From the early 50's to the mid 60's the show offered a Who's Who of the giants of the entertainment field. Lucy and Desi, Joan Crawford, Bob Hope, Judy Garland, Rosalind Russell, Bette Davis, Burns and Allen are just a few of the mystery guests who were trying to stump blindfolded Dorothy Killgallen, Arlene Francis and Bennett Cerf.
