I've been a John Tesh fan for years. Ever since I saw his PBS special, Red Rocks I was hooked. I have to admit that I didn't think I'd like this new Christian twist because I've just loved his instrumental rock/jazz music so much. But what an amazing CD! I saw a commercial on TV and that got me interested but then I saw him on Regis and Kelly and that made me go out and buy it. I'm so glad I did. I'm going to reccommend it to all of my friends. I've already bought some more to give as gifts. I especially love the songs "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever" and "Trading My Sorrows". I love this new style for you John. Keep up the great work!

This CD is enjoyable. There are parts that aren't as pleasing to the ear as I had hoped, but over all I enjoy the music.

Moving . . . uplifting . . . to quote from one of the songs on the CD, Tesh takes us "back to the heart of worship!" After the first time I heard this CD, the songs kept popping into my mind. Each time I listen, I experience a greater gift of shared faith. I'm ordering 10 copies to share as gifts for my friends and family. This is a CD you want to share as a joyous gem of Christian faith.

Being a newbie Christian (about a year), these songs are somewhat new to me. Great beat, sing-along, lift-up-your-hands and praise music! I think John Tesh is extremely talented.

The songs are beautiful, as is the music. If I wasn't familiar with the words I couldn't have understood one word. The music as beautiful as it is, is too overpowering.

I purchased John Tesh's "A deeper Faith and Mehdi's "Instrumental Escape Volume 5" as part of a package deal and although I enjoyed John's album, I was blown away by Mehdi's extraordinary Instrumentals. I'll always be a John Tesh fan but I must admit Mehdi's music is really awesome. You can hear full samples at soothingmusic.com. Check it out... I have a feeling you'll be glad you did.

Good music can transport you! This CD takes you into the presence of God himself! And what a ride!

This is such a wonderful cd, and perfect for those moments you need just to relax and meditate. A great soft, quiet, inspirational cd.

I was never really a John Tesh fan because I was never really a fan of Entertainment Tonight. However, I seemingly foolishly suggested to my wife that I might, may or think that I was interested ... remotely ... in the Tesh toon "Open the Eyes of my Heart" and she bought the CD for me. What a powerful CD! I recommend it to everyone ... DO NOT GET LEFT OUT OF THIS EXPERIENCE!

With this CD that reminded me of the old Maranatha Music of the 1980's, Tesh ruined such wonderful and annointed songs such as "Trading My Sorrows" and "Shout To The Lord" with his bland and monotoned overdubbed music. In fact, the CD is full of one minute interludes (deemed as tracks) that instead of bringing people into a worship experience, many of the spoken words are undeciperable (because so many reverb, gate, and delay effects are used in the vocals in combination that the music drowns out the vocals), the atmosphere creepy, dark, and dreary. In summary, this CD is just another CD of Tesh's typical cheeziness with overkilled keyboards, piano sounds, and beat boxes trying to sound like a celestial experience instead of leading people to the heart of worship. Natalie Grant and Nicole C. Mullen should be ashamed for providing their awesome talents to such a bland project.
