My family listens to this CD regularly at meal time and throughout the day. The melodies are familiar yet hauntingly beautiful and peaceful. The music brings praise to the Lord to your heart.

If you purchase Heritage Collection I you might as well purchase Heritage Collection II. Neither will disappoint you. It is great music for just about anytime. I have several of Lorie's CD's and and have yet to find dislike in any of them. The nice thing about Lorie's Collection CD's is that they have that spiritual soothing you get when listening to Christian hymns.

This a beautiful album! It is hymns that we have sung in celebration and sorrow. These arrangements are jazz instrumentals that are magnificent.

The very first song is Be Still My Soul and I marvel at how beautiful it is. This loving interpretation brings tears of joy. This one song is worth the purchase of the album. The second song is Children of the Heavenly Father and it is a joy to behold. The collection on this album was chosen and performed with care and love.

The last song on the album is Jesus Loves Me - a song we have sung for so long it should be tripe. Not this version and I will leave it to the listener to discover the beautiful surprise in the last few bars.

The Heritage Collection is a must have! One listen and you will label this as one of your very favorites.
