This series includes re-mastered recordings culled from the band's 12-inch vinyl singles, CD singles, and alternate versions of albums. Some of these songs appear on CD for the first time. "Volume 2" contains songs from the "Help Us/Save Us/Take Us Away" single in 1992 to the "Glory" single in 1994, plus B-sides, extra tracks, and more. Twenty tracks and over two hours of music. Other highlights include a 16-page booklet featuring art, photos, and anecdotes.

This compilation is even better than volume 1; it sure has a lot of versions of the same tracks, but in general terms it's the same deal as before. The tracks are ordered in the same way as the original singles, except for some songs that were already present in the normal albums. The GLORY single is split in halves, the second one scheduled for release in Extra Vol. 3. The sound quality is slightly better than Volume 1's first tracks -Sieg-Sieg, More & Faster 12" mix and Naff Off, mainly- and basically the same for the rest of the material present in that first compilation. Here we have many KMFDM classics in various long lost and interesting versions:

-A Drug Against War
-Sucks
-Help Us-Save Us-Take Us Away
-Glory
-Light

Along with a great More'N'Faster remake and the original Blood mix. In general terms this is a slightly more representative KMFDM "rarities" (because they have been out of print for many years, basically) compilation. Looking forward to Vol. 3

Having been relegated to publication on a WaxTrax! promotional sampler disc from 1994, I didn't think the "Never Mix" of "Trust" would ever see the light of day again. Thankfully I was wrong, and this compilation is worth picking up for that track alone. It's so much better than the album version it's not even funny.

...was also released on the "Glory" CD-S in addition to the afterburn compilation mentioned by the previous reviewer. still nice to see it on here though. as a completist, it looks like there is nothing on these collections that a collector with all the original cd singles already has. nice for people just getting into the band or rebuilding a collection as the originals are a bit harder to find now but nothing really to offer long time fans/collectors.
