5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent accoustic guitar album, April 22, 2001
This review is from: Vol. 2-Idyll Swords (Audio CD)
Very active. If you like Directions in Music, Jim O'Rourke, Bosco & Jorge and/or Pullman, you'll probably like this.

5.0 out of 5 stars No need for Ash Bowie, October 31, 2001

This review is from: Vol. 2-Idyll Swords (Audio CD)
After Ash needed to spend dome more time with Mary Timony/Helium, the Polvo guys got down with in a Sun City Girls meets Can's "Soon Over Babaluma" sort of way; ridiculously good eastern-style mostly intrumental rock. This rules--"ethnic" without sounding like a J. Peterman/Putmayo type "world music" fiasco.
