I've had this CD for a couple years now, and for the bossa nova musician, this is great play-along/karaoke stuff. Each song goes through a few times, so you have a chance for melody and improvising. The tunes are mostly in "common" keys to make it easy. Instruments are piano, drums, bass, and guitar. Sheet music included in various keys.

This is a typical Jamey Aeborsold product, i.e., nice selection of tunes, well-recorded cd, nice rhythm section. My only concern is that I would haved preferred a few more slower-tempo tunes. No biggie, this is a very nice collection.
