Extremely detailed and informative, this book has all the information the home mechanic could ever possible need. From changing a sparkplug to rebuilding the transmission (yes, there *is* a detailed transmission breakdown), it's all here. All systems are covered and diagramed in detail (even circuits), and things that are often passed over by other manuals (instrument panel, etc.) are covered.

While the author assumes that the reader has some knowledge of auto repair, those with even a basic knowledge should not be confused and will learn a lot from this book. This book is well worth the money.

Those who drive and love their Volkswagen Fox understand that although many parts will bolt on from different VW models, the Fox is somewhat quirky in the way it is put together. The Robert Bentley service manual is the Bible for VW Fox owners who want to service their vehicles properly. It contains detailed diagrams of wiring and vacuum systems (very important in a VW) and though not written for the novice mechanic, is easy enough to understand for anyone to get started servicing their own vehicle. Additionally, if you want to get into more complex service issues, the Bentley manual will take you as far as you want to go. If you are looking for the right way to take care of your Fox, look no further.

I haven't gotten into the more detailed aspects of auto repair, but the Bentley manual is very very good to say the least. At times, the illustrations can be a little difficult, but it's much easier once you compare it with the car and know what you're looking at. This manual covers damn near anything you could ever think to do to a VW Fox, and has been a big help so far.

Bentley Publishing auto repair manuals are far more detailed and complete than competing manuals on just about any vehicle, and this release is no exception. An absolute must for any aspiring self-mechanic, this manual is a required reference for most internet forums on maintenance and modification on the Fox. Often the first reply to any question on such a forum will be, "Look it up in your Bentley..."

It has it all, don't buy any other manual, if you own a fox, this is the one you want. It helps the do-it-yourselfer become a do-it-righter.

I recieved my service manual a few days earlier than was estimated, and the quality of the manual is great. It has been of great help in my efforts in repairing my vehicle.

This service manual is THE one for you who owns a Volkswagen Fox. It has a lot of detailed drawing and technical specifications... It worths every cent!!!!

i went through and read all the review and well they where right; i own a volkswagen fox so this is something i have been needing for a while. the chiltons meanuls are not as indpeth as this one is; it cover ever thing from top to bottom you will need to know about your fox. other service or repair manuels only cover a wide verity of vw's and dont go deep into how to work on your car as you need. i just replace my fox heading core and really whised that i had this meanule; i strugle with the chiltons becase it only breafly talk about how to remove a heating core and it didn't go step by step like this one does. if your needing a meanul get this one; you will not regrat it ;o)

Bentley manuals in general are better than Haynes or Chilton (I don't think either make a Fox manual anyway.) Detailed, straightforward. As others have said, it's the Bible for Foxers and probably for VW owners in general.
