this book is quite comprehensive. one problem: non USA passat owners may have monojetronic fuel injection, this is not covered. the 1.8 litre engine is also not covered, only the 2 litre.

2.0 out of 5 stars 1993 Wagon is a Piece of Crap
I purchased this to do work on my garbage 1994 Wagon. The 1994 wagon is a cross between 1993 and 1995 unfortunately so I had a difficult time fixing the vehicle. This book did not provide proper assistance and as there is no material for 94 from VW I had to risk purchasing this product. Luckily I sold the piece of crap.

I have many technical books about VW Passat cars. I think, this is a better book! But with some troubles :) I buy this book from rb.com, and when get the book from USA, I saw - every second page in Engine section was empty :( I send this information to rb.com and waiting replacement 2 month :( Thank You.

It was a great relief to find an affordable manual that gives the information to actually diagnose and repair a vehicle. Hanes and Chilton beware, if I need to repair a European vehicle I will look for a manual from Bentley Publishers long before I buy one of your very incomplete manuals.
