This "kit" give you the extras to deluxe up your volo stroller, giving you a hood, seat liner, raincover and bag in which to store it all.

Despite it's cost, how it functions with your volo is quite good in our experience, the hood provides decent coverage and also features a roll up back part to provide a breeze on hotter days, the seat pad adds comfort and is waterproof so spills and any other things that could happen are easy to take care of, the raincover works just like the other maclaren raincovers giving good coverage from head to foot for the child, the bag in which in comes in is of good quality canvas/nylon like material with a drawstring closure..great for storing the pieces when not in use.

Best of all the stroller can still be folded with both the hood and the seat liner in tact.

Overall we've found the "kit" to be worth the extra expense for those times you want some upgrades on your volo without giving up it's ease of use.

The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was i am not as fond of the color choices, i would like it to match the stroller ..but that is a personal thing and not that big of a deal :)

The stroller is easy to handle and very convenient to fold and carry. The drawback is the canopy comes separtely. You pay almost as much for the canopy ... as you do for the stroller ... I am returning the stroller, because I did not realize how much the canopy cost and cannot justify the cost. You can only purchase the canopy online.:<

I Love the stroller itself however the Sun shade is a different story!! When I brought the stroller I had to buy the accessory package to keep sun off the baby. After about 5 minutes of trying to figure out how to get the shade on(I had to unwrap the set mesh seat from the clips to hold the shade that would have been helpful in the directions)! I finally got the shade on. I seemed pleased with the shade while it was open when I went to close the stroller the stupid shade keeps falling off the stroller. So now that it keeps on falling off soo much it doesnt stay on tight and falls off even more. Pretty much the only reason I brought the accessory package was for the shade I consider it a waste of $$! Thank goodness someone at Maclaren finally woke up and redesigned the 2005 to come with the shade! Wish I wasnt stuck with the older model with the horrible shade!

We've traveled for the last 8 months with the Volo stroller & accessory pack. (our son is now 15 mo.). For Ease of use, lightweight & durability this is as good as it gets. Yes, it's pricey but well worth it. The stroller (with pad) has been checked on many planes & is still undamaged. The accessory bag with hood & rainhood fit neatly ito a suitcase on top of clothes. We also have a heavyduty stroller which we use at home, but I like the Volo & accessories better - so much smoother to use so lightweight (stroller drives & folds up like a charm too)

I received the Volo as a gift. I would have never purchased this item for myself. There are so many comparable strollers for a fraction of the price. This accessory package is a joke. These items should come standard with the stroller.
