Enables traveling light,
By Vicki C. "Vicki" (Orland Park, IL. United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Inflatable Travel Hangers (Apparel)
These hangers are easy to blow up and when deflated, take up little room. Your clothes dry more quickly because the hanger keeps the front and back of the garment apart. If you need to travel light and wash out clothes in the hotel sink, go for these inflatables. I am ordering another set for my next expedition.

The Best Inflatable Hangers,
By Doug Dyment (San Francisco, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Inflatable Travel Hangers (Apparel)
These hangers serve multiple functions: they augment what may be a meagre (or nonexistent) supply of clothes hangers in your room, and they provide an ideal way of hanging shirts for drying (keeping the fronts and backs from touching, thus aiding air circulation). Less obviously, you can temporarily remove the metal part (best done at home prior to your trip, as the task will require a pair of pliers to "unbend" the hook a bit), and discover that the remaining piece serves as a fine lumbar pillow to support your back on long flights; the hook slips back on easily once you reach your destination. And when you're not using the hanger, the hook can be used as an additional attachment option for your travel clothesline. These hangers are extremely light, and pack very small, so you needn't feel guilty. I include two in my carryon bag.

Unreliable,
This review is from: Inflatable Travel Hangers (Apparel)
First, let me correct a previous reviewer - the hook is hard plastic, not metal. Not an issue for going through a security check.I took 2 on a recent trip to Europe, and 1 of them sprang a leak I was unable to plug with duct tape. I guess I should have taken 4. Fortunately, most places don't allow you to do laundry in your room anyways so it usually wasn't an issue. The one that worked worked quite well, although it was tricky to inflate and deflate (you need to deform the nozzle a little).
