The actual title of the book is Voltron: United and Drawn, different from what's shown on here which is Voltron: Defender of the Universe Official Art Book Plus.
This is essentially a fan art book. The quality of the artwork featured is quite polarizing - not in a good way. The really good beautiful pieces are too few, and the rest are mediocre and amateur. I attribute it to the low selection criteria, if there were any. Even the several 1-panel cartoons titled Voltron Funnies are tragically not funny.
Finding out who drew what in the book is frustrating. The artist index is located at the back, with page numbers beside the artists' names. However, page numbers aren't printed on every page of the book. So locating artwork is a matter of finding the nearest visible page number and counting from there.
The few interesting interviews which talk about the history and making of Voltron are probably the saving grace. This is not a book I'll recommend unless you have a look inside first.

Voltron Fans avoid this "Art" book at all costs! I've seen better Fanboy art posted online, than that presented here! I had expected a collection of all the Fan art done by the many Pro-comic illustrators. Or,at the very least, well done amateur art? What I got was Geek amateurism at it's worst! Poor art,for the most part,and vague info fill this expensive waste of a tree! Beyond disappointed!
