Editorial Reviews

This fifteen song album consists of music written by Vaughan, and lyrics spanning through three generations of the Rhea Family. Although each song has a vivid individuality, there is an artistic style that runs through this record. From the emotionally challenging song, Drinker’s Hour – to the wonderfully lovesick Apology – or the uplifting revelation of Eyes on the Sky, this album tends to run through a spectrum of emotional highs that does not limit itself to any one age group. This is truly a collection of songs that will appeal to almost anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best I have heard in a long time., February 14, 2004

I recently ran across these guys, I heard a song or two in passing, but have now listened to the recent CD as Vonray & Indie release as Vonra and these guys ROCK!!... Its is too bad their label let them go so fast. They will be someone else's GOLD MINE in the future. I am an older listener(40+)and are always looking for some great new bands to listen to, that in some ways compare to the 70's & early 80's bands. The mixture of Acoustic Guitar & Electic are great on both CDS. If you get the chance, pick up these CDs and look for more from these guys in the future.!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't Miss This One!, January 9, 2000

Unless you hail from Orlando, chances are you've never heard of VonRa -- this is the best CD you've never heard! These guys are the most polished band to come out of Central Florida to date, and if you like acoustic-based rock this is a must to add to your collection. This will fit right in the CD changer with Matchbox20, the Goo Goo Dolls, and 7Mary3. The songs are catchy enough to hook you the first time you play it, but they are complex enough to continue to please after many sessions. "Drifted Away,""Just Wakin' Up," and "Loved You All Along" are all top-notch, and "Drinker's Hour" is honestly one of the best songs I've ever heard. Do yourself a favor and take a chance on this unknown -- you will be very glad you did. . .

5.0 out of 5 stars VonRa is now VonRay, December 25, 2002

VonRa(y)'s about to have a major label album rleased with elektra records, the new songs are just as good as the old songs, but you already know that if you're a fan, if you're not a fan you need to check them out and quick. Every song on this album as well as the others tells a story but they're all tied perfectly together by all of the boy's talent and vaughan's amazing voice
