This masterpiece 2-CD set is really a complete journey through modern day electronic music - Paul van Dyk at his best, he seamlessly brings us up to date on the state of affairs in trance, progressive, electonic music as we call it. This is a true electronic masterpiece, and hearing it over and over again is like wanting to listen to "Out there and back" over and over, or "Politics of Dancing" version 1 and 2. That same Paul van Dyk vibe we have all come to love and respect is present in this work, truely amazing sonic aural bliss, full on club massive. From massive build-ups to the thunderous dance beats that make you want to rave once again, this mix has got it!! Really, you can't miss this one :-)

Of all my itunes mixes, cd's, podcasts, etc., this is one of the most professional, solid mixes available. pvd matches pitches, tempo and harmonies in such a masterful way that he is just a step above all others. As someone who prepare mixed and re-mixed sets, I know the music he works with is quite complicated- especially to make such seamless overlaps. This is a timeless, masterclass work

"Please put out another CD just like this", is what I want to say.
Because this is exactly what many people want to get when they search for great trance but hardly ever do.
Truly one of the best releases I have ever heard (and I've heard a lot). If you want to feel the rush that you get when hearing this type of music live on a massive sound system this Vonyc Sessions 2009 2 disc collection is it. Worth every penny.

Another piece of art. The Great Matthias Paul, aka Paul van dyk, the legend, the master, the pioneer of electronic music did it again. Another flawless production. Magnificent from beginnig to end. This is what i like about this guy. He knows what he is doing. He has one target only. Deliver great music to fans woldwide, whether through his CDs or his sold out events. Buy this CD and you will not regret it. Can't wait for his Vonyc Sessions 2010 to be released. You definitely don't want to miss this one. Peace
