For once, I now have hum and noise free sound without resorting to buying 9V batteries for my pedals. The fully isolated power outputs work great. It mounted nice and out of the way under the Pedaltrain PT-1-HC pedalboard. I would not hesitate to buy this again!

For those who say it's not versatile, maybe they didn't read the manual? Each channel has a selector switch to vary the options -- the options vary per channel. In a nutshell you can get 9V, 12.3V, and 14.5V with the stock purchase. Or you can buy one of the adapter cable which allow you to couple two outputs to get 18V or 24V, or double the current. The are two outputs that can be adjusted continuously from 4 to 9V for the drained battery sound. Probably still some pedals this can't power, but I think it's amazingly versatile.

Bought this to power all my pedals on my new Pedaltrain Pro pedal board. This thing is awesome! All of my effects sounded much more clear than ever before. No noise, no hum, only clean isolated power for 8 effects, plus you can use Line 6 and other 18v pedals. Absolutely worth the money. Don't buy a cheaper brand. You "always get what you pay for." And for my money, this is the top of the line.

I bought this along with the Pedaltrain 2. They go together great, and I haven't had any problems. I only wish that it came with an 18 volt wire. I had to buy that seperately for one of my pedals, which is inconvenient.

I was getting a lot of noise in my signal when using a daisy chain syle power supply (Visual Sound 1 Spot) to power my pedal board. I run a Cry Baby Wah and four Boss pedals on my board. The Voodoo Lab PP2 eliminated all of the noise. It is expensive, but it performs as advertised and I'm very pleased with it.

This review won't be long. My pedalboard is dead quiet. I NEVER have to worry about a malfunction due to a poor battery. Whenever I see a pro guitar players board, it's either a custom Pete Cornish thing($$$$), or a regular board powered by one of these. I have not used the voltage reduction feature yet, but it is nice to have the option. The power supply is clean and silent. Before I bought this I had that little worry in the back of my head. Now, it is GONE. Now I am just PLAYING!!! These don't cost anymore than a decent pedal and solves SO many problems. Comes with 8 regular barrel cables and one with a battery clip and one that is reverse polarity, plus you can contact them for others you may need. This thing and the Boss TU3 tuner should be on everybodies effects board. Word! :-)

Only the best players use this, nothing out there comes close hands down. the 18v fulltone OMFG! was amazing, i had been running it with the 9 volt while waiting for a cable to ship. when it did i was blown away with the new sound. buy this you wont regret it.

After trying several different pickups - and finally a noise gate pedal - i broke down and bought this power supply. i plugged it in, and lo and behold - the hum is gone! worth it for that factor alone, the VL pedal power also powers nonstandard pedals requiring 18v, while also providing battery "sag" simulation for distortion pedals. all in all, it's probably the most important part of my signal chain, aside from the guitar and amp.

Decided on the Pedal Power block after watching the YouTube vid for the Pedaltrain 2. Perfectly matched systems! The Pedal Power seems to "clean" the power signal and kill most of the noise from single coil through a pedal. Great product!

I have two of these attatched under my PedalTrain Pro pedalboard. The Voodoo Pedal Power 2 is nice and light, and powers up to 8 pedals, and if you get a 1 spot, or a multi daisy chain, like a Godlyke, you can power more then that out of one plug in. Great power supply, but a little pricey, so watch out if your on a budget.

This product would be great if it were a little more versatile. for most of my gear it works just fine but it isn't compatible with all my pedals like my pigtronix stuff and a cpuple others. for the price I would have liked an end-all-be-all pedal supplier. oh well
