This volume contains issues 7-12 and 0, the remainder of the series as it was cancelled after the 0 issue.

Priscilla Kitaen is finally free of the alien monitor group, the Black Razors. Freed by two of their best agents; Fallon, a tough as nails woman after Voodoo for the murder of her partner, and Blackjack an enhanced meta-human wanting to see Voodoo come to justice. Voodoo is the clone of Priscilla. Both are half human and half Daemonite due to Daemonite experiments. Voodoo wants to fulfill the Daemonite prophecy of making their kind the rulers of the universe while Priscilla wants to get revenge on the clone that has been murdering in her name and represents her trial of torture.

The story takes an interesting perspective in that both Priscilla and Voodoo are the leads of this book. We get inner monologuing from both characters as they chase their desired goals. Priscilla does feel like the hero of the book as she was the innocent human victim that had the experiments performed on her and then gets locked up by a government agency. Her drive to kill Voodoo first and foremost is a little hard to swallow as even though Fallon and Blackjack are her liberators, they still were working for her captors. A brief moment is addressed to this issue but it felt too little too late. Also, it would have felt more natural for Priscilla to want to hunt down the Daemonites. Voodoo on the other hand gets more screen time and is a somewhat sympathetic character as she was programed to do what she does and still has some doubt. But she still boils down to a killer that is after a weapon to destroy the human race.

The story does pick up even more from volume one into feeling like something more epic as Voodoo is out for a weapon of mass destruction.

I really enjoyed the first volume of Voodoo, a story about an alien posing as a stripper to hunt down Earth's superheroes. I was disappointed by the second volume. The story leaves Earth and loses some of its charm. Where the first volume explores an imagined Louisiana, the second volume explores an imagined mesoamerican temple linked to aliens and then another temple off Earth linked to the same race aliens.

The book has ties to Grifter and Stormwatch.
