Hunting with them was terrific: while still-hunting I glassed for 15 - 20 minutes at a time with no feelings of eye-strain and no head-aches at the end of the day. I was able to pick up small details very quickly, enjoyed clear viewing from 30 minutes before sunrise to sunset, and had no issues with fogging in the cool morning when I was still hot and sweating from the hike in. I would (and have) recommend these to anyone looking at entry-level field glasses (Vortex makes some *much* more expensive binoculars - all out of my price-range).
I just returned from an 11-day trip with these on harness just about all day. I spent the majority of my day looking through them and had zero eye fatigue issues. I also did some side by side comparisons to a friends much more expensive brand and found them identical. In regards to chromatic aberration I didn't see any, and at one point we were watching some fast moving aerial sparring between a couple of falcons (hawks?), with no issues at all.
Rugged exterior took a beating with no problems, 2-days of rain and no fogging issues, I rarely if ever had the caps on and had no scratching.
The cons, which I will list, should by no means discourage a bargain shopper from purchasing these: The lens caps are annoying and awkward, prone to falling off or being in the way, replace them and still save money. The eyepiece you press up to your eyes is hard and un-cushioned in any way, I would deal with it unless you really want to spend an extra few hundred for cushy eyepieces. Lastly they are a little heavier than the expensive glasses, again deal with it.
These are a great purchase, I highly recommend them!
I hope I never need the warranty, but if I do, I love their no-quibble coverage. You don't need to fill out some form, or provide "proof of ownership", it is more like the warranty that comes with the leatherman.
Admittedly, they are the first binoculars I have owned, so I don't have depth of experience to offer.
