Excellent!! I love the new shape at the end. It is not a circle as in the past models, but instead a flat end. The flat end allows the screw to be turned easier in a tight spot between the binos. It also allows the binos to close to a smaller distance while mounted on the tripod. Vortex makes a great product.
By the way... The pictured shown is wrong. Go to Vortex's website to see what the product exactly looks like and make sure your getting that model number posted on their website.

Well machined simple part. Vortex has a phenomenal warranty on their optic products however this counts as part of the 3 year limited warranty on 'tripod' products.
