This review is from: The Voting Rights Act: Consequences and Implications (Hardcover)
This book has it all. Tons of information regarding the Voting Rights Act of the 1960s, and all the events that made the 60s what they were. Foster's writing style is simple but unpatronizing. He makes you feel like a student in an upper level class who has stopped by his office with some really good questions. In the final analysis, this is probably one of the most underappreciated works of the last half of the 20th Century!
