J'ai lu ce recueil de nouvelles suite aux critiques lue sur le site et je remercie ceux qui l'ont recommandé. Ils m'ont permis de découvrir un petit bouquin charmant et plein de fraîcheur ainsi qu'une auteure que je ne connaissais pas et dont j'ai beaucoup aimé la plume.

On se reconnaît un peu dans ces histoires et c'est amusant de voir le regard que jette l'auteure sur les petits et grands moments du quotidien. Plusieurs petites anecdoctes m'ont fait sourire. Le ton qu'elle donne à ses nouvelles les rends aussi très pétillantes.

Bref c'est un beau petit livre pas très long mais vraiment bon. Je le recommande fortement.

Anna Gavalda has a gift for packing a lot of emotion and detail into short tales. This collection is great for "french-as-a-second-language" readers who want to maintain their skills, but is also a great read for short story fans.

I thoroughly enjoyed these brief tales of men and women living in Paris or outlying areas. Each is told from a first person perspective which lends an intimacy and emotional salience to each main character's story. Highly recommended - even if French is a second language.

This is a recent collection of short stories,of which most have a twist in the tail. The French is up to date with a considerable use of slang. Very witty anecdotes are sprinkled with hometruths. The only downer is that the back of the book shows a price of 4.80 euros (about $7) but it costs $15.15 from Amazon !!

It's a culmination of short stories. I think she's a great writer and has a fresh voice.
