This is the first review I have done for any book that I have purchased. Morgan Rice is an amazing author. This series is the first series of books that I have read that I cant put down since reading the Twilight Saga. Morgan Rice takes you into a whole other realm of vampires. This series has so many emotional aspects of it. Morgan really pulls her readers into the story line. I have been extremely pleased with this series. I read Vowed in 2 days. I can't wait to read book #8 so I can see what is in store for Caitlin and the rest of the characters. 5 stars is the highest I am able to rate this book but I would give all of the books in this series 5 stars or more.

Morgan continues what is already a fantastic series with the next book vowed; which is so enthralling you can't put the book down till you've finished it! The plot continues with a few great surprises along the way but by the end of the book your heart breaks as well in the cliffhanger ending. Morgan has created characters that are unforgetable and her books continue to keep you on the edge of your seat. Unlike most authors I'm sure we will not have to wait a whole year to see how the story ends.

I like this series, but wish it would conclude soon. It seems some authors draw out a storyline just to sell more books. Also, I wish the books would come out in conjunction with the kindle edition instead of having to wait for it to come out in paperback, as many readers wish to have an actual book for the price they pay. If you overlook all the typos, mispelled words, and grammatically incorrect sentences, it does make for excellent, and original reading.

I've been reading the Vampire Journals since the second book was released. I've been waiting impatiently for the next book to come out and every one after that since then. Vowed was just as exciting and cliff hanging as the other seven but it's worth every page to read. Fortunately Morgan Rice doesn't make us wait to long for her books to be released unlike a lot of other authors I am fans of. Vowed has some HUGE revelations and both the good things and the bad that do go down make it quite the page turner. It's about 200 pages and took me less than a day to read since I couldn't put it down. The bad that does happen is the worst possible things for Caitlin and Caleb to have on there shoulders. But since Morgan Rice is such a good storyteller the little foreshadowing she gives makes me want all the bad with the good and gives you hope that all isn't lost. Can't wait till book 8 comes out!

This review is from: Vowed (Book #7 in the Vampire Journals) (Kindle Edition)
I can never seem to get enough of Caitlin & Caleb's adventures going back in time (This is by far my favorite vampire series). I will say that I am dying to go on an read the next installment!! Thank you so much Morgan for giving us who love this series the chance to read it early. I love this series so much that I purchase them even though I have a saved PDF! I love this series so much that I would pay 9.99 for it any day, but for those of you that are looking for a good deal these books are definitely worth the buy! Looking forward to book 8!

Good, but not great!,

I love the series, but I think this book was not her greatest. She completely forgot to explain how Kyle knows that Caleb is still alive. I mean, in my opinion, it was a pretty big mistake. There were some other mistakes, but not as great as the one I just mentioned. Other than the mistakes, I do love the storyline and her descriptions of the places they visit and all the action that is being created. OVerall, like I said, good, but not great! I'll still buy the final book--I still want to know what happens in the end.

One of the things I love most when reading books written by Morgan Rice is this: Each book is like a great virtual reality ride at Universal Studios. I start reading and I picture the whole story taking place in my mind. This doesn't happen with every book I read; only the well written ones. Not only are Morgan Rices' books well written, they're great stories as well! Looking forward to the next book in this serries.
