This review is from: Voyage to Adventure (Star Trek) (Paperback)
--Characters--
Portrayed just like they are in the TV show/movies. I do wish Uhura, Sulu, and Chekov played a little more of a role though. --Artwork-- Good. Close to what they looked like in real life. Lots of pictures, making the scenes come to life. --Story-- ENDINGS: # of memorable endings: 1 good, 7 bad, 2 mixed I like how the endings are portrayed in a subtle manner, unlike the Transformers books I read. Of the gamebooks I've read, this had the most storylines. However, all of storylines felt a little too short. The storylines covered sounded like something that would happen on the TV show. This book stayed very true to the original. --Conclusion-- Definitely worth a read for a Star Trek fan. As a gamebook, is above average. Comparable to "Indiana Jones and the Eye of the Fates" in the respect that it portrays the actual characters and stories well, but this Star Trek book is clearly better than the Indiana Jones book I read. |
