This review is from: Voyage to the Planets [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video reviews all the planets except pluto. It is 105 minutes in length and also talks about what Voyagers 1 and 2 found out with the 8 planets closest to the sun. Mercury shows off its astounding topographical features in this video. This includes a huge impact crater that is only visible on the night side of the planet. Venus is identified by its strange cloud formations and rotation. Mars shows off its barren red surface to the Voyagers' cameras while jupiter reveals its moons and its huge magnetic field. The rings are studied in detail at Saturn and at Uranus Voyagers 1 and 2 view its very iratic rotation pattern. At Neptune a storm like the red spot on jupiter is discovered and observed in detail. This video is excellent to show in any science class.
