I really like this CD. I can see the one reviewer's point about it getting a little Lawrence Welkish in some places, what with the orchestra and choir, but the steel guitars are as island breezy as you could want, the musical selections are all good to great, and the production is full and lush. It really is quite easy to close your eyes and get wafted away on a warm tropical breeze while listening to this album.

I came across this CD while staying in a condo on Molokai. My wife and I had a lot of fun listening to it while eating breakfast on the lanai or watching waves crash on the beach. Maybe we are not as sophisticated as the other reviewers, but I would recommend it and have bought a copy.

I am a haole (caucasian from the mainland) who loves ticky tacky-type luau music (the kind performed for tourists), as well as exotica (the music that wafted from my parents' vinyl albums when I was a baby in the 60's). But honestly, this album falls short of both of those categories.

It is truly awful. It sounds like Lawrence Welk's sickly rendition of "Polynesian" music. Just listen to the first sample, and you'll detect the distinct sound of an old guy waving a baton at his orchestra. Yeesh.

There are many, many great CD's out there to help provide the perfect ambiance and background for your next luau or cocktail party. This one, however, ain't it. Keep shopping!

Wonderful music, makes you feel like your back in hawaii. I bought it so that I can add it to my Hawaian photos for my digital picture frame.

I ordered this CD for a friend. She listens to it all the time and loves it. Reminds her of when she was stationed in Hawaii with her deceased husband.

The Voyger Series Cd's are just bad. I would never buy another one. There is more to select from at amazon.

The CD is disappointing as it is only music without words. And poor music at that. Not a good Hawaiian CD. I would not recommend.

A great cd, easy to listen to, also makes one feel that they are in Hawaii, wonderful the way this has been put to-gether, rates highly with me !!.

This is the one CD to own with Hawaii music! Very romantic and relaxing. Highly recommended!

This CD was just what I was looking for to set the mood for a Hawaiian theme party. The music is beautiful and familiar. I highly recommend it.
