Product Description

Seven of Nine, Tertiary Adjunct to Unimatrix Zero One, was assigned by the Borg collective to work with Captain Kathryn Janeway in an agreement that allowed the U.S.S. Voyager to travel through Borg space in exchange for the technology to destroy Species 8472. When the other drones attacked the Voyager crew, Commander Chakotay ordered the Borg blown out of the cargo bay into space. The only survivor, Seven of Nine's human body began to reject its Borg implants. Janeway ordered the Emergency Medical Hologram to remove the implants. Voyager's computer data banks revealed that Seven of Nine was once Annika Hansen, the daughter of explorers who set out for the Delta Quadrant aboard the survey ship Raven and were never heard from again. Captain Javeway took personal responsibility for helping Seven of Nine rediscover her humanity. Their relationship at times has been difficult, as Seven of Nine's Borg experience left her with a headstrong personality that surfaces when she disagrees with the Captain's actions. Despite their differences, they have forged a strong bond. Except for a few implants and nanoprobes left within her blood system, Seven of Nine's human appearance has been restored. When the Voyager crew has contact with the Borg collective she has proven her loyalty to her new shipmates and her human nature.

The Playmates 12" 7 of 9 figure is a great Star Trek icon. The facial scult and painted borg details are very well done. The Borg alcove piece is a nice extra. I definetly prefer the larger action figures with real cloth uniforms to the smaller all plastic figutres.
