Not His Best Work,

I have read Jupiter and Mercury by this author and enjoyed them both but this novel is weak at best. Despite the cover art and synopsis, it is first and foremost a love story (a weekly written love story involving unbelievable and unlikeable characters.) I caught myself skipping past the cliche and hackneyed dialogue to get to the scifi portions of the book which are few and far between. If you like scifi novels then avoid this book, for there is very little to do with scifi within its pages. If you like love stories avoid this book because it is very poorly written.
