I bought the laptop and everything was good.
But the Sony service sucks so bad. I had a faulty hard-drive, and called to change for a new hard-drive, and it has been over 3 weeks now with no signs of getting it soon. Apparently Sony does not have any hard-drives left, which is highly unlikely. Don't buy Sony, buy toshiba, Asus or Macs. Anything with a better customer service is worth the money.

The Sony F series laptop is a great machine. It is great for just about anything. I've had my vaio for 5 months now and I have had no problems. It continues to work flawlessly, no hardware or compatibility issues and it is very fast. I have never been more pleased with a purchase of a laptop. The backlit keyboard is awesome (this is how I am typing this review right this minute!), the laptop stays relatively cool especially with the power inside the laptop compared to many laptops I've used before, and it is always quick to start, quick to do any task I assign it and never failed me yet. I recommend this laptop to anyone I've come across looking for a moderately priced laptop. Of course you could pick up an Acer with the same specs for a couple hundred bucks better, but you won't find the same solid manufacturing, the quality or the durability that Sony provides. I love this laptop! There is no way I couldn't give it 5 stars!
