First solo album of ANGE's singer, "Le Mal D'Adam" dates back to 1979 and is close to the "Guet-Apens" era of the band. Fifteen years later, the "Nu" album presents a concept wandering between love, life, old age and death based upon a flawless combination between poetic songs, grating humor and Chistian DECAMPS' great sensitivity. His jewel-shaped words acquire all their force with the music composed by the author and sublimated by his collaboration with Jean Pascal-BOFFO and his band. In the purest Progressive rock tradition and with all his musical culture, the guitar player has magnified this music with his inimitable touch, close to KING CRIMSON, MAGMA, Pat METHENY or the ethnic fusion that he usually enjoys. Many guests (Daniel HAAS, Tristan DECAMPS, most of the instrumentalists from "Nomades": drums, saxophone, flute, violin, cello, etc.) contribute to make this disc the masterpiece we had been expecting from two great musicians from the French Progressive rock scene. "V'soul Vesoul V'soul" (1995) is a live album in which tracks from Christian DECAMPS solo albums alternate with ANGE pieces ("Ode A Emile", "Capitaine Cur De Miel", "Crever D'Amour", "Fils De Lumière"...). Not to be missed !
