I have bought several simple cordless phones and have had problems. I've used this phone for a couple of months and the range is good and the sound quality is good. I'm very pleased.

I like everything about this except for the comfort of holding it. It does not have the usual rounded back that I am used to.

The phone works great--the Direct 6 technology has great range and no background noise. The next model up is worth the difference if you want a speakerphone.

This product had to be returned. On the first attempt to dial a phone number the display froze. The instruction booklet provided no help. Could not find a way to clear the display. Did not like all the fancy colored attachments. This phone is more about appearance than utility.

THE TITLE SAYS IT ALL. THIS IS A VERY GOOD PHONE. I BOUGHT FOR A STEAL ON CLEARANCE AT A BIG BOX STORE. IT SUCKS THAT YOU CAN'T UPGRADE TO MORE THAN ONE HANDSET. MY BATTERY TIME SUCKS...BUT IT'S PROBABLY BEEN SETTING IN THAT STORE FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS!

I had been using a 2.4 ghz phone for years now. It was at the point that you would only be able to talk for 20 minutes and the phone would die on you. I could also stand in a certain spot in my kitchen and hear the neighbors talking on their phone across the street. When I saw this digital V-tech phone, I though it was fun looking and reasonably priced. The sound is perfect and I can hear people clearly. I didn't realize how muffled people sounded before. I definitely cant hear my neighbors anymore. The feel of the handset seems a little awkward at first but you get used to it. I like the interchangeable color plates as well.

I got this as a gift, I had no idea it doesn't have a hands free mode. What crappy company would make a phone in the year 2009 without a speakerphone? I have a Vtech phone from 1999 with a speakerphone. Even free cell phones have speakerphones. Also, the phone itself is not comfortable to hold. Do not buy this horrible phone.

This handset is linked on Amazon's site to base set LS6205, but VTech's user's manual for LS6205 does not show this combination, and I just found that the LS6205 requires linkage only to the listed models. The LS6205 does not, for example, function with the most common VTech base, the LS6229.

I have had this phone for about 2 years. The handset has been dropped a few times, still works. It has good range I can walk around my big yard no problems. I got it at Walmart. I picked it for it's look.I hate boing stuff.
You can change out the color plastic on the base and the art on the back of the phone itself.
The art is just cardboard and then you cover with clear plastic. You get spares but I am still on the same one. I thought maybe the cardboard inserts and plastic would not last, but they have. It has held up well and I would buy again.

We've had this phone for about 5 months. So far it has held up well. It has good sound most of the time. It is difficult to set up and use the directory.

I like the speaker phone feature a lot. The buttons light up, which helps at night.

so far I'm satisfied.
