I bought this toy for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I knew she would be a little young for it but decided anyway, thinking it would be a good way for her to have a comoputer, like mommy and also it would help with her ABC's and numbers. I was right on both. Although she really is too young to play the games by herself, she can work the music section. The other nice thing is that when you push a letter or number button, it says that letter/number, no matter what game or section is on. She does enjoy her computer and it does hold her attention for a while. As far as durability, it seems pretty good but I'm pretty careful to keep it up unless we're playing with it, just to make sure. I would overall recommend this for a 3 year or older, as the product also advises but am not sorry I got it for her now.

I bought this for my two year old daughter for her birthday this year because she is a HUGE fan of Mickey Mouse. I read the reviews and was afraid that it might be a little advanced for her, but then thought she could grow into it as well. The moment she opened the package she was in love with it. She doesn't understand the games yet, but when she presses the letter keys it will tell her what letter she presses. It also has a music option and she loves to set it to music and just dance her heart out. She also enjoys watching the little animations that play when she presses Toodles or the other character buttons. I know that as she gets older she will have even more fun with it as she learns to play the games. This holds her attention for a pretty fair amount of time as well. All in all, its a great buy, and very durable as well.

We got this for our almost 4-year-old for Christmas after he sat in the floor at Toys-R-Us for 30 minutes playing with it. He loves it. It's fun and educational and seems to be durable. He was very excited when he opened it and remembered playing with it at the store. Very portable - he can take it to Gramdma's or in the car. Great toy.

I read the positive reviews on this page & thought this would be a great gift for a 3 year old. Wrong! The screen is tiny and not backlit so it's hard to see. Not to mention, the graphics look like a 1985 Casio watch. Wish my wife didn't destroy the box or I would've sent this back right away.

My 22 month old son loves to mess with my computer, cellphone, etc but since I got him the Mickey laptop, he is so entertained with the keyboard and mouse that he doesn't care about my stuff.

We bought this for our 2-year-old for Christmas. He is not interested in it. Our 4 and 6 year old children have no interest in this either as they use my laptop when they want to play educational games. The screen is just small, dull and cannot hold any of their interest.

I bought this for my newly 3 year old for Christmas. She loves it because she loves Mickey Mouse and likes to here his voice. Although the voice is a little different, she does not seem to notice. Since it says, "Micka, Mucka, MICKEY MOUSE" all the better. She does not seem to play with it much and really I bought it for the above reasons. But when she does play with it she does not get as frustrated with it as she would a toy that did not allow her to get passed a screen for pressing the wrong button. She gets frustrated with opening it though. It took me several times to sit down and make sure she was paying attention to teach her to open it. If focusing is a problem in the child, this is going to be a issue and just drive mom and child crazy. I have some children that would have this issue in the past, but the child I bought it for seem to learn to open it.My title entered "Needs adult supervision" is in reference to the fact that Vtech failed to place a screw on the back of the battery compartment. My daughter broke it off as she is just curious about opening and getting into things as any three year old. She broke the compartment in half the day after she got it. I have to superglue it together and then tape it shut. Then replace tape when I need to add the batteries. I am a little annoyed at this because I did not expect this in a Vtech product as to be this cheap. I did not notice it until I found batteries all over the floor, since the toy came with them. If you have a dog or a child that puts things in their mouth, just becareful and aware!

My grandson (4) and granddaughter (3) love it but it really is just a toy. The graphics are terrible and a little 3x5" screen you can barely make out what they are trying to display. But, my grandson wanted "a Mickey Mouse computer"! Unless they ask for it (and there really isn't anything else on the market), spend an extra $100 and get them something useful and/or educational.

Arrived in time for Christmas in excellent condition. Cassie's only two but has her favorite things to do with it already. She'll learn from it for quite a while.
