5.0 out of 5 stars First toy phone my 2-year old loves!
This is a great toy phone! My 2-year old loves my iPhone (I don't blame him) so most of the toy phones we've bought do not hold his attention. This phone DOES though so I am so happy we stumbled across it! He loves pushing the buttons and watching the screen. It's fun for him to just slide out the keyboard. The box says it's for 2+ but I think he'll get a little more out...

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun for a 2 year old
My two year old absolutely loves this toy. However, it does not simulate a real phone so he'd rather play with my phone. Hopefully we can find one that better simulates a real phone.

5.0 out of 5 stars First toy phone my 2-year old loves!, September 12, 2011

This phone DOES though so I am so happy we stumbled across it! He loves pushing the buttons and watching the screen. It's fun for him to just slide out the keyboard. The box says it's for 2+ but I think he'll get a little more out of it in a few months, but his language is a slightly delayed. My 6-year old likes it too, which is surprising because he has much more advanced toys to play with like a Nintendo DS. If your toddler likes sounds, buttons and your cell phone, I definitely recommend this toy!

Love the toy! But purchased from Toys R Us on 11/14 for 12.99!!!! And they had free S&H!
Great toy phone, kids love the slide feature.... just Amazon's price is more than double Toys R Us!

We got this for our 2 yr old for her birthday because she's always playing with Daddy's phone that is so similar. She loves it. She carries it around the house talking to Papaw and Daddy all the time. As she grows it will help teach her the alphabet because when you use the keyboard it says the letter and puts the letter on the screen. It does the same with the numbers and has interactive games to play. Great teaching toy.

I love this toy. It is sturdy and well-made. It teaches letters and numbers, and does a variety of activities. I bought it for my 3 and a half year old granddaughter who is an only child, so she really enjoys the various "friends" that call her. It does so much more than just being a toy cell phone. I think it was well worth the price.

This was a pretty good toy cell phone, but my 14 month old likes the LeapFrog phone and the non-sliding VTech phone better. It's $12.99 and Target -- half the price of Amazon.com!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars This phone will make her smarter, October 13, 2011

My mother ordered this for my daughter and she loves it. We've only had it a few hours and you cannot take it away from her for any reason. I love that it flips like a real phone, gets louder when you slide the typing pad(like my mom's) and you can type with it, learn letters and numbers and basically acts like a real phone. My daughter is only 13 months, so none of that is important to her yet, but she thinks she has the real deal. Works for me! If only I could upload Talking Tom and Angry Birds(her two favourite apps) on there it would be the best child's phone ever!

I should say it's pretty durable. My daughter has a pitching arm and it takes her like a pro, sometimes my phone did not.

I bought this phone for my two year old, who's always wanting to play with my cell phone. Of course she doesn't know how to work all the games, ect on the phone but it does hold her attention. There are quite a few games and activities for kids that are educational. It's one of the best "play phones" available right now, plus the slid keyboard really makes them feel like its an adult phone.

The only thing I don't like is that when the keyboard is out the characters voices are much louder, this may just be a flaw for our phone but even when I try to change the volume it's still much louder than when it's closed. Other than that I really like this phone, and have bought two more for birthday gifts!

We bought this phone seven months ago. He's now almost two and is really starting to enjoy the various features. It's a fun little toy that seems to work with various age groups. The phone got dropped in the toilet last week and stopped working. I took out the batteries, dried the phone in a plastic bag of rice, and it's back and fully operational. It has been thrown on the ground at least a hundred times. Nice work V-Tech! As with all toys that make noice or speak to you, it can get a little annoying over time.

My son loved this toy for a few hours, until he dropped it on concrete (maybe 3 feet off the ground) and it quit working completely. I tried 2 new sets of batteries to no avail. 2 stars instead of 1 since it's my own fault for chucking the receipt! =(
