I purchased this item for my granddaughter who is 2 1/2 years of age. My daughter-in-law has told me that although she likes the toy it is not a toy she is able to maneuver efficiently on her own. Although she is very smart and very verbal we feel that she will be able to enjoy this toy when she will have mastered the mechanisms on a independent basis.

The Vmotion gaming system isn't great. We've got 7 games, and this is one of the best. Most Vmotion games are very limited in content, and the games are short. My 5 year old, with little gaming experience, has beaten most of her games within a few times of playing them. Maybe the point is to have the kids play from start to finish over and over again... but that gets old quick. This game is the most fun for her (and her 3yr old brother). Again, it isn't GREAT... but it's better than the others we own.
I suggest scouting around locally for games on clearance. I was able to find this for $3 at Walmart.
