The VuQube Flex was easy to install and just as easy to use.

I ordered the Flex and found that connecting the 50 foot cable to the Flex, then my satellite input at the back of the 40 ft RV was too much coax cable.
Kevin Laubscher
Would recommend it to anyone who has a camper or motorhome and doesn't want to keep looking and looking for a signal in order to watch television!

I have been a full time rv`er for almost 10 years. Setting up satellite dishes is something that I have had to do since I started, including the ones for internet coverage. I have been trying to simplify life on the road and this antenna does that. Set it down where it can see the sky in the direction of the satellite, put the handle somewhat to the north, go inside in push the power and scan buttons and in a little bit ...TV. So far after 2 months all is good.

I ordered the Flex and found that connecting the 50 foot cable to the Flex, then my satellite input at the back of the 40 ft RV was too much coax cable. There was no signal at the front of the RV. I shortened the external coax to 20 feet and I could get signal at the front of my RV. The Flex controller is very sensitive when pushing the 2 buttons simultaneously to start the reprogramming process. You know that you did it correctly when you see lights flash. The instruction manual also is missing a critical step, after
Step 4 your should hit the scan button and let it complete scanning on the Flex controller before going on to Step 5. I was able to reprogram the Flex for Dish satellites and get my TV working. To get a second tv to work on the Flex, you have to move the Flex Controller and hook it up to the second TV and complete the Check Swtich testing so all 3 satellites are programmed in the second TV. Then you can move the Flex controller back to the original TV. I found the Flex was not able to hold the HD signal, and would drop off for 30 sec to a minute. Also, when you change to an HD channel from an SD channel, the Flex can take up to a minute to pull up the HD TV picture, so be patient as it moves to other satellites. Switching from one SD to another SD channel is instant. Swtiching between on HD channel and another HD channel is instant. Overall I decided not to keep the Flex because it could not hold the HD signals, 20 feet of outside coax may not get me past trees (I did not test if 30 or 40 feet of coax would work), and the SD signals result in a much smaller picture size on my TV.

Unfortunately I did not buy this product thru Amazon, I bought thru AdventureRV.com. Needless to say when I got the Vuqube and opened the box to read the instruction it needed a power supply to operate. I called AdventureRV and after contacting a supervisor as I was getting nowhere with the first person I was told that their policy was that there is no return on electrical products. After explaining that the reason that I bought this product was that it states no power cord required. I was told that they would make an exception for the return but I would have to pay a 15% restocking fee. When it mentioned that no power supply is needed it does not specify that it has a separate box which has to be connected to AC power to power the satellite Vuqube constantly. The other is that you can not have the VuCube situated over 50 feet with the supplied cable as it will not work. BE AWARE WHEN YOU BUY FROM ADVENTURERV AS THEY DO NOT ADDRESS CUSTOMERS CONCERS ON THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL.

This antenna is amazing. All you have to do is connect it and set it outside. It automatically picks up a signal and you are in business! Would recommend it to anyone who has a camper or motorhome and doesn't want to keep looking and looking for a signal in order to watch television!

Set this up and once we understood all the ins and outs, it was easy as pie. We did end up calling the company VuQube and they were so friendly and helpful. We will defiantly buy from them again and refer others to this product. (by the way, the reason we had to call the company ended up not being something wrong with their product, it was the wire we purchased locally to connect it to the receiver...bought new wire and it works great.) The unit will find the channels for you and if you have the locals at home, you can take them with you wherever you travel...so you always know what is going on back home. ;)

Works great! It's so nice not to have to spend a lot of time looking for the satellite signal. It's very lite, even a child could carry it. We're very happy with it. Fast shipping and good packaging.

The VuQube Flex was easy to install and just as easy to use. It took only a few minutes to attach the cable and turn it on. We were watching our Directv within 10 minutes

Buyer beware! If you use DISH, NOBODY AT DISH KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THE FLEX OR TAILGATER PRODUCT until they transfer you to the Tailgater Advanced Tech and then you have to go through the check list over again with another person. In my Last Contact with Dish I was told I needed a new receiver, bought a new receiver and problems with reception were the Same. Very frustrating. Support is spotty at best. In my experience the FLEX works poorly in any location location, regardless of clear sky. HD programming is spotty using the FLEX and it has major problems supporting a second TV. I found it better to use a standard HD Dish and take few more minutes to set up. Contacted King Controls and found help by phone inconvenient and found they have no one to come out and assist with problems. VERY disappointed with both DISH and KING CONTROLS!!
VERY EXPENSIVE AND TIME CONSUMING LESSON!!!
