There was a 2 3/8" hole that needed cutting, and this was perfect.

This hole saw is junk, so they ship two hoping that one of them will be satisfactory.

Very sharp, excellent quality, and good pricing. Quick advice - make sure you use a variable speed electric drill with this bit.

Exactly what I needed to install a door viewer (peephole) in my front door. I ended up getting two of these in the box I got. I was only expecting one, but I'm not complaining!

I used this to put flexible grommets in a desk to hide computer cables, which required this odd size (2-3/8"). The saw cut clean holes with normal effort.

I like the fact that there was a pilot bit included with the saw. It is very durable. I used it to cut through a floor joist. It was very smooth.
I would recommend this product.

I recommend this hole saw to others.

There's not a lot to say about this: it's a great, functional hole saw. The edge is sharp and the pilot bit does the job. I used mine to cut four holes through 3/4 inch birch so far, and I'm sure I'll use it for other things in the future.

Be sure to adjust the pilot bit to be slightly ahead of the cutting edge of the hole saw. Otherwise, the spinning motion of the hole saw will move the drill out of place and you'll scratch up your surface (or worse yet, drill the hole in the wrong place).

Overall, these are a great, functional hole saw. I recommend it to others.

The bit is a bit short. You cannot change it out with one of your own since the end of the bit has a groove that is held by a screw on the top of the saw. (Unless you have one) You will need to drill a hole in the application with another bit then place the cutter with the original bit and slowly try cutting. If too fast it will spin out and damage the surface of your project. It is good for cutting into surfaces less than 1/2". Anything larger and thicker will need to use the steps I suggested..... hope this helps....

I was not impressed with this drill. It is not manufactured well, as it does not spin perfectly circular. It is off about 1/32 of an inch, which can be interesting when drilling through a countertop. It is not a solid chuck to spindle piece either, the drill bit is marginally adjustable, which to me just means more that can go wrong with the unit.

WIth that said, it did the job I purchased it for, drilling half a dozen holes through a Formica countertop.
