My daughter is almost 4 months old and starting to gum everything. She mostly wanted my fingers. I tried a couple other teethers, and she really didn't have much interest. That's when I started researching. I came across Sophie the Giraffe. The reviews were outstanding, so I thought I would give it a shot. I came across this double pack at Amazon that included Sophies cousin (that's what we call her). I am so glad we did. Every time I show her Sophie, she beams! She loves both of them. Pie is a bit smaller than Sophie. I was pleasantly surprised how soft they are. Baby can squeak them with ease. You won't be disappointed. Plus Sophie has been around since 1961. I look forward to buying Emerson more Vulli toys.

As my 5 month old grandson began teething, he would become frustrated in his infant kind of way not to find the relief to the itching and hurting in his little gums. Now he is happy chewing and mouthing his Sophie at the day care and Chan Blue at home. He loves the squeak and the relief he receives from these. His mama even keeps Chan Blue in the freezer after washing it at night to give him a cool treat in the mornings. It was definitely a great solution.

My daughter is expecting her first baby. She has researched a lot of baby products and found this is one of the top rated items for babies. I purchased the item for my first grandchild due in August.

I actually wanted to purchase only the Sophie Giraffe for my four month old since I had heard many good things about it and my son is at the stage where he chews on everything, even without teeth. However, the Chan toy looked so cute that I decided to buy the set. Well, my instincts were correct and my son LOVES the Chan toy even better than the giraffe. It makes a funny squeaky noise and he laughs whenever I give it to him. It is extremely pliable and easy for him to hold, squeeze and chew on. He loves putting the nipple-shaped top in his mouth and chews on the face. While he enjoys the giraffe also, it is much stiffer than the Chan Blue and does not really have any soft, chewable surfaces. It's also harder to squeeze. Regardless, my son is able to hold the giraffe by its legs or neck and suck on its ears and face! My only complaint about these toys is that the price is a bit high but I suppose that the fact they are made in France demands it. Overall, I have no regrets about this purchase. It was well worth it.

Be aware before purchasing from this vendor. The items arrived in damaged packaging, and the Chan Blue looked dirty as if it was not new. I purchased these as gifts and was really embarrassed to even give them as gifts looking the way they did. The vendor sent these in an envelope rather than a box.
I was very unhappy and the vendor was not very accomodating with my dissatisfaction with their service.

These are really good toys, and I know plenty of babies that absolutely adored theirs. Our son couldn't really care less though. He'll chew on them and play with them just fine, but it's not any more than he chews on any of his other teethers so it probably wasn't worth the price for us. That's not a knock on the toy, but just keep in mind that just because most babies go crazy for these doesn't mean all babies will.

these items are good to play and also chew. My baby likes chan blue then giraffe since giraffe is bigger than that.
I think that these item is could be usable before 6month baby.

my son loves these! he's only 3 months but still loves the squeaking noise and chews on both chan and sophie. they both peek out of his diaper bag and i've had several people tell me how cute and unique these are. i love them, baby loves them(and will probably grow to love them even more). they're easy to clean with pacifier wipes and the price is a little steep but easier to swallow when purchased together.

Had both of these for my daughter and she loved Sophie. She carried Sophie everywhere we went. I have since ordered these from Amazon for 2 of my friends that had babies and both of their newborns loved them too. I don't know what infants love about them but it seems as though a lot of them do.

Overall both are good products. Nice soft rubber, good squeak. My baby likes both, but may prefer Chan Blue a bit more due to its shape. I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend them to others.
