I remember at the beginning, Will & her friends were practicing their new powers, and Cornelia lifted a chunk a rock, & she put it on another rock...(or something like that). And then,Irma wanted to see what Earth & Water mixed together was like...& made a huge mess!!!!!!!!1111 And the next day,Will was having an awful day at school, in Mrs.Rudolph's 5 hour-end-of-the-day...

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, Not the Best
I bought this book(and the first five) because I have seen the series, which I thought quite entertaining. However, when I read the books, I was dissapointed.

I think the publisher's main problem was its' editor. I could find a couple grammer and spelling mistakes in the book(and trust me, I'm not the best at finding this time of thing). Another thing was...

A Kid's Review

I remember at the beginning, Will & her friends were practicing their new powers, and Cornelia lifted a chunk a rock, & she put it on another rock...(or something like that). And then,Irma wanted to see what Earth & Water mixed together was like...& made a huge mess!!!!!!!!1111 And the next day,Will was having an awful day at school, in Mrs.Rudolph's 5 hour-end-of-the-day Math class. But right after school,Will,Taranee,&Cornie were walking down the street,& then,Cornelia spotted Will's Mom & Mr.Collins (Will's History teacher) dating! Will was running away cryin' her eyes out! In the next chapter,Irma & Hay-Lin found out Ms.Rudolph was a creature from Metamoor! But, at the very end, Taranee gets captured by Elyon, and Taranee tells Will:"No! Go away! Plase go! Do you hear me Will?!? GO AWAY!" And at the very end, they make an Astral Drop of Taranee. Then I think it had a rockin' awsome cliffhanger! Here's how it goes/ends: Cornelia says: "We DID have a chance to get her....." And Will is like:"She told me to go away,Cornelia! But we'll go back....if it's the last thing we do.....WE'LL RESCUE HER!!!!" And that's pretty much it!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Taranee's Trapped!, November 22, 2009
This review is from: W.I.T.C.H. Chapter Book: Finding Meridian - Book #3 (Paperback)
I've always loved this series of books. :)

In Finding Meridian, the g irls go to Meridian for the first time, but Taranee ends up trapped. What could happen?

This whole W.I.T.C.H. series teaches the readers that friendship is so powerful it can conquer anything. Highly recommended! :D

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, Not the Best, April 2, 2006

I think the publisher's main problem was its' editor. I could find a couple grammer and spelling mistakes in the book(and trust me, I'm not the best at finding this time of thing). Another thing was that they thought the book would be better if they actully put it in book format.

I would have enjoyed the book much more if it was in comic style, for the drawings are entertaining.

W.i.t.c.h. has its magic though, it draws you in, besides the unorganized writing and the mistakes. It is a breath of air for fantasy, for it is so hard to find original fantasy these days.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Good Installment in the Series, March 6, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: W.I.T.C.H. Chapter Book: Finding Meridian - Book #3 (Paperback)
How does W.I.T.C.H. keep doing it? This book was as good as the all the other W.I.T.C.H. if not better. There is a lot of adventure in this book. The girls actually go to Metamoor! One thing I must say is that this book has probably the best cliffhanger. It ends saying that Taranee is still in Meridian waiting to be rescued. You'll just have to find out on your own!

5.0 out of 5 stars W.I.T.C.H. Chapter Book: Finding Meridian, December 15, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: W.I.T.C.H. Chapter Book: Finding Meridian - Book #3 (Paperback)
What happens in this book is that the W.i.t.c.h group (Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin) fight against Elyon, an old friend of theirs. They also had to battle one of her minions (Frost the Hunter.) He was a very mean man.
The main character in this book is Will. She is the leader of the whole group. She controls how the other girls and herself go to different worlds and how they change into their witch forms. Will has a orb like object placed inside her called the Heart of Candracar that comes out whenever she needs it. The orb allows them to do these things.
The conflict in this story is that they go into a different world and end up leaving Taranee because she was trapped in the clutches of Frost the Hunter and she told Will for them to protect themselves and leave her there in her thoughts. When she told them to leave and protect themselves, Elyon got mad because she didn't want them to leave so she did a spell and made Taranee's mouth vanish before their eyes.
They resolved this by leaving and coming back for Taranee later just like she said. By using the Heart of Candracar , they were able to rescue her and get back home safely. Before they left, they had to clone an image that looked just like Taranee and sounded like her or else they would get into serious trouble if here mom found out that she didn't come back home.
My opinion about this book is that it is very creative and imaginative. They probably had to think of a lot of ideas for this series of these books. I would recommend this book for others to read.

2.0 out of 5 stars A Little Hard to Understand, June 21, 2005
This review is from: Finding Meridian (Hardcover)
Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin, as Guardians of the Veil, must draw on the magic powers they possess to face down foes much bigger (and slimier) than themselves. In the end, they are forced to move forward without one of the team members. This is the third in this series book for middle readers. You would expect the book to go by quickly, but there are times you need to re-read it to get the full grasp of what's being said. The language is choppy, the presentation is so-so (several misspoken cliches), and it is just a little TOO fantastic. However, this book was very interesting. It has lots of mystery and keeps you guessing until the every end.

4.0 out of 5 stars Review of W.I.T.C.H. #3 by Julia, a 9 year old girl, July 17, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: W.I.T.C.H. Chapter Book: Finding Meridian - Book #3 (Paperback)
I liked this book because the Guardians go to Meridian to see Elyon, who has disappeared. When they're battling Frost the Hunter, the evil bad guys lock Taranee in a bubble. She says to them "Go, Will! Get out!" Later they create an Astral Drop of her so her parents don't worry. It was pretty good.
