More About the Author

Tadeusz Korzeniewski was born in Poland. His book "W Polsce" [In Poland] was published in Warsaw by the anti-Communist underground in 1981. In 1984 it was awarded the Koscielski Prize. In 2010 it was republished in post-Communist Poland.

In 1981 he moved from Poland to France and then on to New York then Montana and then Seattle. Of the many gigs he has done for living in America, he values the most guarding as a security guard the original of this pic: http://0.tqn.com/d/arthistory/1/0/j/f/pa_neh_06.jpg

In 1990 he wrote "Lubark," a novella in English, for which he received a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. In 1991 the Ucross Foundation invited him to Wyoming. While on a ranch there, he conceived a story of a culture-drifter riding outlaw trail in the contemporary American Northwest. In 1991-1998 he traveled across the northern America. In 2013 he published a book in Poland, "Do Wyoming" [To Wyoming]. He is preparing the English version of the book, "To Wyoming."
