These gloves are really beautiful! Soft, supple, real leather - nicely lined, well sewn...and they smell great! Arrived all the way from China in 7 days. Very good delivery. Great price. Well packaged and presented in a heavy setup box, suitable for gifting. My knuckles measure 8", so I ordered large. The hand and wrist area fits perfectly on me. The thumb hole is a little snug, but I am sure the uber-soft leather will stretch and mold to my hand in time. The gloves are not as long on me as pictured on the model, so obviously I must be taller. One caveat: I am very thin. My wrists measure just under 6" at the bone. My arms are 7-3/4" just below the elbow (where the gloves end on me.) If you have much bigger wrists or arms, these may not be comfortable.

Large gloves measure:
14.5" long
7" around bottom
9" around at top
6-3/4" aound at wrist

If these came in more colors, I would re-order in a heartbeat!

These gloves are of excellent quality, elegant and fun. I purchased them for both cold weather and cosplay, so I expect to get a lot of use out of them. However, the first pair I bought did not fit! I've always been a small or x-small in gloves, and measured my hand before ordering a Small, but although my arms are slender/average, the left glove would not go past halfway up my forearm. I thought it was the normal differences a person has between one side of their body and the other and tried the glove on the other hand, where I had the exact same problem. The left glove was definitely tighter. However, had this not been a snug fitting style, I would never have noticed. It was not an otherwise visible flaw.

So why 5 stars if I had trouble? The seller was extremely helpful in replacing the gloves (offering a refund, should I choose) and even gave a US address to which I could mail the original pair (which had shipped from China). The replacement pair arrived quickly, is of the same stellar quality, and fits very well. Even at the correct size it's a snug fit, but I already feel some give after just half an hour. Very comfortable, even while typing!

In summary: Do measure your hand, but also take your blouse size into account. As a small/medium, Medium was the right long glove for me. Enjoy your gloves!

Since I wear a size 7 glove (and I really do know), initially I was inclined to buy these in a size Medium. I'm a pretty small person with large hands for my size. In fact, whenever I operate at a new institution, the well-meaning staff look me over and provide a size 5 glove on my sterile field. They're right in that a more proportionate person of my stature probably needs a smaller size. I suppose that if one has to be disproportionately built, large hands aren't really all that bad (it's the matching size 7 feet that I could do without).

Regardless of the nature of my dysmorphism, after reading some reviews I decided to go with a size Large. I wish I'd gone with my gut instead, as the large was . . . well . . . large. Though I could have made do, I thought these, like most leather gloves, might stretch with wear, returned the large pair, and bought medium.

Big surprise! The mediums fit like a . . . er . . . fit well. They are tightest at the knuckle, as gloves should be.

That said, in the wrists, I could have gone a size smaller, but IMHO the fit in the hand is the most important. Unless you have very thick or very thin arms, go with your glove size in these, as both pairs I tried were sized exactly as the Amazon Women's Glove Size Chart describes. If your arms are thin, then the gloves simply won't be super tight through the wrist (and they probably won't be grossly baggy, either). If you have very large wrists or very muscular (or otherwise thick) forearms, then maybe these aren't the best choice, as they'll likely be uncomfortably tight.

To me, these gloves are true to size, glove size that is. Just be realistic in your expectations about the arms. Long leather gloves should be snug in the arms, and remember that they should stretch a little with wear. This style, like most, is not for everyone.

Regarding quality, I am surprised at the price point, since these are quite well made. The leather is supple and they are a true black, unlike some black leather items I've seen that have a slight brown hue to them. They are lined in black satin. There is a small gathered elasticized area (about an inch, horizontally, or maybe just shy of that) on the inner wrist. I don't know if this is meant for comfort or fit, but I like it more than I initially thought I would when I noticed it. The thumb hole is well finished with flat seaming and is generous enough in size to allow for a comfortable free range of motion (having bought several pairs of fingerless gloves recently, I find that this is most often where manufacturers fail). Also, even when flat, the shape of the arm is noticible, with room for the muscles of the forearm and a nice taper toward the wrist. Finally, they do smell great, too, though not as strongly of leather as others I've had.

These are high quality gloves with unique styling at great price point, a winner in my book. I expect to wear these for years to come.

Laid flat, my medium gloves measure :
* 3 7/16 inches wide at the hand opening
* 3 1/4 inches at the narrowest part (just before the elasticized wrist gather going traveling from fingers toward shoulder)
* 4 1/8 inches where they begin to widen for the muscles below the elbow
* 5 1/8 inches close to the arm cuff, which reaches above the elbow on me (I'm 5'1" on a good hair day)
* 15 1/4 inches long overall
* thumb hole is 2 3/16 inches long and 7/8 inch wide (oval and at an angle)
* there is 1 3/16 inches of glove beyond the thumb hole

Notably, the product images do not do the lining justice, as it has a silky sheen that is not evident.

Highly recommended for those with a BMI between 18.5 and 24.9 (in other words, normal body mass index).

I have a confession to make: I do not wear these while driving around in a fur coat. I don't actually own a car or a fur coat.

I do wear them in my freezing cold office at night and around town all winter, though. Warm, well made and look, feel and smell great! I love these arm warmers so much that when I thought I lost them, I immediately re-ordered.

Compared to products sold at retail in the US, the sizes run a bit small up the arm. I'm pretty tiny and love that these actually fit me very well, but I'm not sure they'd be comfortable higher up the arm on someone with a larger frame. If knee-high boots are usually at all snug on you, these might not work. They're exactly as long on me as in the picture.

Actually, I'm using thes gloves to protect my hands and arms while doing housework and gardening. They are beautiful, withstand all my heavy uses and I look quite fancy cleaning my house in long leather gloves. They are very well made and I love them!

I wanted these gloves for two reasons: 1) To finally wear those cold weather 3/4 length gloves and 2) so I could use my fingers on my phone, smoking, etc. They are so sexy and functional all in one.

Take their measurements and then go one size up from that.

I wasn't taking in that this is an East Asian product, and would run smaller than expected- I thought I'd be a medium, but I'm definitely a large- I can get the gloves on with a bit of a struggle.

I had been looking for these for several months. I live in Chicago so not being able to find something is usual. The only thing going forward I would request a large. They are small.

Thee most stunning gloves I have! The leather is butter soft, they slide on and feel like they're cashmere lined. Spoil yourself. They're worth every penny. I've seen the most ugly leather gloves out there selling for tons more.
I don't miss the fingers b/c I drive and I can grip the wheel better w/o the fingers. And with my arm being warmed up my fingers feel warm too. They stay up very well, and I have large hands. My husband always looks at my wish list and surprises me--winning!
He ordered the largest-although I don't think it would have made a difference, if I'd just had the large.
Get a pair, be beautiful AND happy!

Perfect experience. Shipping was super fast, and the gloves are beautiful. I was concerned about sizing after reading reviews. I usually wear a small in wrist length gloves, but my upper arms are a little heavier, so I decided on a large. They fit great and don't cut into my upper arm, but also are not too big on my hands. I do have a bit of extra room, which is fine for a fingerless glove. The leather is very, very soft and it looks like they will stretch pretty easily. All of that at a fantastic price, I couldn't be happier.
