I have a 2002 KIA sportage OK stop laughing it was real inexpensive anyway Trust me you want the manual hubs from warn put them on you will be happy. in my case I have the vaccume hubs JUNK!!! the swap was extremly easy remove 6 bolts holding the hub on. remove the thin flat washer from the bolts. remove old hub should slide right off. slide on new the warn hub. tighten the bolts you are done. But while you are in there I would check to make sure everything is clean and no rust or crud that would indicate a problem. Also in my case there was no need to even jack up the vehicle.the directions were very easy to understand even a caveman could do it. entire job took less than half an hour. 2002 sportage takes model 60247 hubs when searching for your year and cant find it email WARN help desk very professional and helpful.PS USE NEVERSEIZE on the bolts aluminum does not like steel it will oxidize neverseize will make taking it appart in the future much easier.Hope this was helpful.

Awesome, easy to install product! Our 2000 Kia Sportage 4x4 with vacuum hubs had failed seals and the dealership wanted over $600 to replace the hub seals. We bought the Warn 60247 manual hubs and even in the worst weather they showed up in just a few days. Following the directions enclosed with the hubs, we put these on in less than 30 minutes and the Sportage can now go in the snow! Plus, in the better weather the front drive train can be disengaged giving us even better gas mileage than the original set up. Read the instructions first, then be careful when removing the OEM hub bolts, they will be a bit rusty and you don't want to break the bolt head off. If re-using the original bolts, be sure to WD-40 both the bolts and threaded sockets. Use a torque wrench as noted in the instructions. Note: The P/N 60247 gets you a hub kit all in black, there is no chrome ring as shown in the Amazon picture for this product.

On the 2001 KIA sporty these hubs are easier than spark plugs to install, just remove the 6 holding bolts pull out the old hub and pop these in. don't forget to remove/ eliminate the flat washers though. Pop the hood open and disconnect the plug that works the old vaccum system, it looks like a soda can in front of the master cylinder. Put tape around the connector to avoid shotrs.

would have been 5* if it was chrome, but these work compaired to the stock vaculock crap. inner seals were always going out on my 2000 kia, or the lines would dry rot. took about a half hour to install but i did other work too at the same time, so YMMV. pop the center cap out of the rims, unbolt the old hubs, and bolt the new ones on. i removed the vacume lines to the hubs, and put tight fitting caps on there with a little dab of wheel bearing grease to keep water out, and capped the line at the selonoid, just incase it comunicates with the ECU. now when i put it in 4 wheel drive, i know its gonna work, instead of the gamble KIA did. thyen again these were in the "toy" class of suv as i call them, not meant to do things like a Jeep, but they suck in the snow around town without 4 wheel, let alone trying hardcore off road

My sons 2002 Sportage 4x4 system recently stopped working.. after a bit of research, this seemed to be the ticket...the vacuum system is garbage on his SUV and stopped working... took off the hubs, put these on,, pulled the seloniod to the vacuum, tied it off.. you dont have to cut any of the vacuum lines or plug anything behind the wheel....pop on these hubs, turn the dial and boom, 4x4 works again!!,,, we looked at each other and said, it cant be this easy,,, it was... tested it by driving it into a foot of snow, leaving rear wheels on bare dirt drive. in 2x4 rear wheels spun, could not get out... turned the hubs, engaged the 4x4,, boom,, out he came!! take that KIA DEALERSHIP,, instead of paying $750 to get it going again, did it for $131.00 :) -------> smile face me..

Recently the automatic hubs on my KIA 2000 Sportage EX quit working. Being that I live in Montana and 4x4 is a neccesity I took into a local shop. They told me that it would be at least $550.00 to put manual hubs on it, possibly more if they "dug into it" and "found further problems". Thanks goodness I did a little research before I authorized the repair.

I ordered the kit and it was a simple straight-forward fix. It took me about 10 minutes per side to make the repair, and this was at night in -3F weather. The 4x4 now works like a charm. I saved at least $425.00 fo 20 minutes work...not bad.

If you have even basic tool skills this is an easy fix.

The WARN 60247 fit perfectly on my 2001 Kia Sportage. It took about 30 minutes to install. I recommend putting some RTV on the interface to get a good waterproof seal; just a thin film will do.

It took me only 30 min to install these hubs on my 95 Sportage. It is great to know that I can count on the front axle when I need it, not just when the old hubs decided to work.
