I got this in the mail, my kid knocked it off the counter, and the metal pin in the hinge fell out and disappeared. Upon closer inspection, this is made of really cheap plastic, to low tolerances. Can't see why someone would trust anything valuable in this case. This is a $0.99 item, not a $8 item.

This little case was great. It truly is waterproof. You need to make sure there is nothing in the seal, because it is not waterproof then. We got a little sand in it and water seeped in. We used it while snorkeling to put keys, drivers license and money in. As long as there was no debris in the seal it stayed waterproof.

I bought this for a trip to Mexico - it worked ok for most of the trip but then one of the pin's fell out of the latch.
