Love the effect of holder. I feel much calmer it in my room. Even if it's having a placebo effect or it's because of the power of suggestion--it's completely worth the price.

If you live in a humid environment, be sure to place the candle holder n something as the salt orb will melt down as it absorbs the dampness in the air.

In addition to the salt orb melting, it's a struggle to light the candle in the orb. The cavity is deep, so one must light the tealight inside the orb v. lighting tealight and dropping it in (the candle will most often go out).

Still, the great effects make this product worth the minor issues that can be addressed.

These candle holders have a beautiful warm glow when lit up at night. They do sweat in high humidity. Make sure that you put a glass candle holder under it. When it is humid, place in a zipper bag. No two holders are the same color.

This is the first crystal salt candle holder I had purchsed. Does it work? I next purchased the 3 tealight holder and am waiting for delivery on another of the ball shaped one. So.........YES it really works. The first time I used this I put it directly in front of the place where I sit in the evenings. I was really tense, had had a bad day at the office. I sat and mumbling obsensities to myself tried to concentrate on the inane television. Gradually I felt myself relaxing, I mean I could feel the tension leaving. There was still the same nothingness going on on the boob tube so the difference wasn't there. I quickly realized that this effect was from the candle holder. Hence the purchase of the rest of them. I have already gotten my 3 tealight holder and burn both of them and really feel the effect. Any tension in your life? This honestly helps. I have recommended this to zillions of people and the one's that have gotten this thank me every time they see me.

at first, i ordered only ordered 2. they were great! so i ordered 6 more. and only one is worth keeping because the 5 others not only were sized very differently, their shapes were waaay off, the opening for the votive wouldn't even fit a standard votive!!! a real waste in every respect: money, time, effort, salt:because whomever carved it ought to've consulted some that knew what they were doing!!! i don't know wether to throw them away or if return is a possibility...

I paid extra for second-day shipping, but this arrived a day late. Item was in good condition: no problems there besides the ship time.

These arrived well-packaged and are more beautiful than I expected. Very nice and add such a lovely candlelit atmosphere to a room. They also cleanse the air as I understand it. Thank you!

These candle holders have a soothing glow when a tea-light candle is burning inside of it. The crystal gives off negative ions when it is warmed by the candle so it improves the quality of the air where it is placed...a "win-win"!

I purchased this holder a few months ago, and now I am purchasing another.
Yes, in daylight the salt is rather light colored, but with a tea light burning in a dimly lit room, the holder has a gorgeous warm hue.
This is a natural product...formed out of Earth processes eons ago....and each one is unique.
This last one I received has some rather striking red striations and deposits.

I think the neg. ions only get released when it's heated, so I still need to find something I can put in it to do that since I don't want to burn tea candles in it. But I have put a small flashlight in it and it glows really prettily.
